Evening – Join members of the conference planning committee for a no host dinner. 

Thursday, Oct. 20

9:00am – Quick welcome and introductions

9:15am – Leadership training: Dr. Helen Usera, Chiesman Center for Democracy, will lead an interactive leadership session based on the principles of the book titled, “Strengths Finder 2.0“.

11:30am -Break for Lunch (conference registration does not include food, but there are many reasonable food options at GVR)

1:00pm – Official Welcome, Introductions & Kids Voting USA Update

1:30pm – DoubleClick Democracy Update: Bobby Fox will share how online voting can be used throughout the year to engage students at the school level to generate interest in topics relevant to them.

2:30pm – The United States Youth Delegate Initiative: Linda Reeves, Kids Voting Mesa County, Colorado

3:00pm – Break

Thursday Night – KV Social (optional) – Join us for a night on the Las Vegas strip.

Friday, Oct. 21

8:45am – Meet in the lobby to walk to KidsVention

9:00am – KidsVention, Henderson Pavillon: Not only will get to see the event, but also the behind the scenes, final preparation work.

Noon – Conclusion of KidsVention, Questions and Discussion

12:30pm – Wrapup Conference and Return to Green Valley Ranch
