Our Story

KV Wisconsin-Marathon County is part of a national network of nonpartisan, not for profits organizations that collaborates with schools and election officials to promote civic education and citizenship among K-12 students. Their work includes:  a beinnial survey of civic engagement for grades 9-12; In governor and presidential election years, hosting  a politcal convention where high school students get the opportunity to run for office and create their party platforms and,  in those same years, holding elections among grades K-12 for voting for their governor or president;  hosting assemblies promoting critical thinking among K-12 students; and, working hard to promote civic engagement among the young people in our community!
